UB and birth control

I have been taking the UB for about 3 weeks now with some sporadic noogling. I am also taking Quasense for BC, it gives you 4 periods a year. Does anyone know if you need to have a monthly period for BO to work? The first week I felt some changes, like the "let down" feeling you have during breastfeeding, when you know your milk is there. Since then not much more, mainly just being more aware that the boobs are there. Anyone have any experience with the BO and not having a monthly period?

I think the best way is to email either UB or BB asking if it is adviced to have monthly period for it or is it okay with 4 times a year
