BLISTERS & Pigmentation Marks

Hi, I pumped my breasts back on the 15th of October 2020 and I have the pressure quite high whilst also on the telephone, I was on the phone for about half an hour and didn't feel any pain so I carried on talking. After about 45 minutes I had finished the call and decided to take off the breast pump only to look down and see steam in the breast dome, and when I took the domes off my chest, particularly my left breast, were covered in hundreds of blisters. At this point I frantically search the Internet to understand what I need to do to sort it out, and I found an article saying that I should pop the blisters with a needle, drain them and cover them to protect them. So I did this only to find something else on the Internet a few weeks later saying that you shouldn't pop them. Either way I had gone with the first method and popped them. After about 2 to 3 weeks the blisters have gone but I was left with some red marks all over my left breast, I was a little disconcerted and worried about the damage that the breast pump had done but I figured that with the time it would get better. I took a photo in December almost 2 months after the initial injury and as you can see from the photo below my left breast was still completely littered with red pigmentation marks. I then took another photo in February, almost 4 months after the initial injury and although the red marks had faded slightly they are still very much there. I have also noticed that my nipple function on my left breast does not work as well as it should, it does not stretch or expand as much as the right nipple when in a hot bath and the nipple is a smaller size than the right nipple now, whereas before they used to be exactly the same. So I decided to book myself a private appointment with a dermatologist and he said I have hyper suction pigmentation marks and they will take a long time to go, if at all and that the nipple function is nothing to do with him and I would have to speak to a breast specialist. So basically the Nooglebury breast pump has completely ruined my left breast... I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had had a similar experience and if they might be able to help or advise me on what to do? I have been using Calendula ointment on it for a while now in the hope it will help as I had read that it can help things like pigmentation marks... But the pigmentation marks are very much still there and my nipple is smaller, tighter and doesn't expand like it used to :( Help!?
I have attached two photos, the first is from December 2020 (2 months after the initial injury) and the second is from February 2021.
