Hi Boodles, didn't see your post till I was done with my last. No I was not taking individual herbs, I was taking herbal breast enhancement pills, with the same recommendations as your daughters, (take for at least 3-6 months to see results), well I did and I did not like my results. Most enhancement pills have almost the same ingredients, maybe just a little different amounts of this and that, and a few have more ingredients than others. I took 3 different kinds with slightly different mixes, the last even had PM in it and none of them did anything but make my hormones worse and added unwanted weight gain, from 117 pounds to almost 150 pounds now. The last one I took with PM in it actually gave me the worst affects, packed on 15 pounds talk about a hormonal roller coaster ride, I still haven't fully recovered from them yet. I want to get my weight back down to around 120, but I'm afraid I will lose what I have gained breast wise over the last couple months if I do. That and I want to try Bountiful Breast when I get a chance, and I know I'll probably have better success with it with my current body structure than I would if I went back down to where I was so I guess I'll just try to keep it under control and not get any heavier than I am right now if I can help it. At least I'm not too far overweight right now, the high end of my normal weight is 140 and I've been teeter tottering between 143 and 147, so I'm not in too big of a panic to lose any right now. Just wish I could trim my mid section and my butt down maybe just a little. Other than that I guess I look okay, I look better dressed than I do undressed. I keep calling myself a fat cow and my mother-in-law and hubby keep telling me I'm not fat, I guess everyone has their own opinion about what fat looks like, to me I look fat when I get anywhere over 120. Hopefully your daughter will not have any adverse hormonal reactions from them, at least I hope not. And that really stinks that the only time you see a gynecologist is when you have a problem, what about yearly exams like we have here in the states? Once a year we're supposed to get a pap smear and breast exam, then once over a certain age yearly mammograms to check for breast cancer. I did say supposed to, I haven't been as regular with my annual exams as I should have been because of a lack of health insurance. We do have low cost clinics here we can go to though where we can have them done for around $100, I just haven't been able to afford to this year. I had one last year, which was the first one in about 5 years, and it was normal, so hopefully everything still is normal, other than my hormones that is, I know they're still out of whack.
Oh, and unfortunately weight gain is a very common, normal side affect of breast enhancement pills. I don't know about the brand your daughter has been using, but I know most say not to drink any caffeine like sodas or coffee because they are diuretic. They make the body retain water, and added weight, which is where most breast enlargement comes from with them if any is experienced at all. That's why I want to take Bountiful Breast, because it's not a diuretic, it does not make you retain water, in fact you can lose weight while taking them and still experience breast enlargement. Well, they don't recommend heavy exercise while taking them, that may counteract their affects, because they work by storing fat in the breasts, like during normal puberty, so the more fat that you have on your body the better they work. I think from some of the research I've done that they can actually filter fat from other parts of the body into the breasts, which is why some women experience weight loss or slenderize while they're on them. Because the pills pretty much take fat from one part of the body and move it to the breasts, at least that's what I'm hoping they'll do for me, so I can't wait to try them.
Oh, I just looked at the ingredients in wonderup, the number one ingredient is soy, which is bad for the body and helps the body gain weight, which could be one of the reasons she's put on a little weight around the middle. They say to be lean and healthy the three things you must avoid are soy, corn, and wheat. Once I get everything where I want it I'm putting my hubby and I on a strict diet eliminating those three things from our diet, which will be a major diet change for us, because there is so much that has soy protein and high fructose corn syrup in it, and wheat. Guess we need to have our own farm so I can grow my own fresh veggies and raise my own cattle and chickens, and have farm fresh eggs for breakfast.
