search function doesn't work for me

does anyone know why this is? i am definitely logged in as there is my login name at the top of the page... but if I try and search for anything, i get a message telling me I am not allowed to!

Help please!

Hi madboobie, ive checked the search function and it is working. Maybe you could just have a look at the settings in your profile as you may need to change some of these settings to enable the search to work for you. Please let me know if this doesnt work.

If anyone else cannot use the search, please can you post a message in this topic.

Hi madboobie, please ignore my previous comments about your settings for searching. I have looked into your problem again and discovered the problem which i hope has now been rectified. Many thanks for bringing this to our attention and now all users should be able to use the 'Search' function. Please can you test it and let me know if it works,
