Uses for redundant tape measures

I think the tape measure needs a rescue here as it does not seem to fit on this forum. They need a postive way forward for the new year.

They could be used as:

a dog lead - then you would know when to call them to heal before they get too dangerously close to the road. May work on small children too.
decorating a christmas tree or wrapping presents - sorts out arguing about who has the biggest present.
keep fit aid - you could jump over them and make sure you do so exactly in the middle so you do not hit a wall.
You could measure the perimeter of your garden - bending over for long periods might make your breasts grow due to gravity.
You could hang them from your ceiling alongside dangly trimmings. When they get to a certain length it is time to take them down.
I am sure they are important little creatures just located in the wrong place here. Does anybody else have any ideas?

HI !!!!!!!
Some good ideas started here.
Use to hang the misletoe during the holidays.
Hang some across the window as a garland strand.
Use to make a shape on the windows, (tree, santa,...)
Emergency belt (too much dinner)
Use one as a tie for those formal dinners you forgot about
Need to keep one for the once in a while measurements to record
the growth of the bust tho.
Stay safe, and have some fun.
