Hi Fellow Nooglers
I posted a couple days ago that I got red dots from over pumping, that was three days ago today.

I will be going back on my routine today, I do not want to much pressure but I always want to make a protective layer on my dome. I am not interested in purchasing the soft rings, as I read they are not that great.

Any tips, DIY particularly ?

I read campers tape? etc... what's the best.

The "New Padding Solution ... YES!!!!" runs on for 12 pages, and does cover other variations.

Basically the pipe insulation advantage is that it is large and resilient to damage. But because it is bulky, it will likely prevent using both domes at once. Also it is only good for the ExtraLarge (XL and XXL) dome sizes as significant interior area is lost.
The large padding does allow you to wear the dome for a long time without ring marks. Good solution for those who want to snoogle (one night one side, next night other side).

I did the 7:2 method last night and what a diff. no major marks and no major pressure = good results!
