Hi All,
I have been pumping for over a year now, so I suppose I not a complete beginner.
For those of you that have, like me recently moved over to an NB system I would like
to give a warning.
Beware of your pumping pressure when you first start using cup rings.
The problem I found was that they(the cup rings) made it so much more comfortable to pump, that I used too much pressure
for longer than my usual session.
This resulted in lots of blisters, and then a lay off for almost two weeks!
Remember this moto : Slow(lower pressure)=Fast, Fast(higher pressure)=slow!
Remember if you cause damage you will have to stop pumping and then any recent gains will be lost.
Finally I would like to recommend the use of cup rings, they are great and make pumping a pleasure.
Regards
