how do you use the airlock kit tubing?

I'm abut to order my first system!
but wondering what the airlock tubing system is for? is this what you would attach if you
wanted to sleep with the cups on?
is it any good?

Yes, if you want to leave the pump and some of the tubing length away, keeping only cups and T piece closed by airlock, to sleep without being entangled in tubing or to walk without the pump... Then if the vacuum seal is tight enough, you can't pop the cups off, have to release first (pull the tubing from a cup or connect the pump). You should be used to sleep on your back most of the time, else if you roll heavily on one side, the cup may fart off.
