puraria mirifica is White, its traditionally called Kwao Kreu kao which means ..white kwao kreu
kwao krua IS the name of the plant...
pueraria mirifica is the name given to the white root as there is another version of the plant that is red and used by males for other reasons

just wanted to say with pm, that very different colours indicate that alot of the time unless its pure pm that extra herbs have been added.
the green pm that i used gave me a very bad stomach upset, constantly running to the bathroom, and uncomfortable pain (from thailand), at that time in my life i was using pm regualr for a few years and this was the only pm that did this to me

pm is not naturally DARK GREEN or black

for example, i have some mirifem in front of me
ingredients,
pueraria mirifica extract 100mg
zingiber officinalis roscoe 30mgs
carthamus tinctoruis linn 30mg
colour is like clay with dark grains in it

any pure pm you buy should be a white, off white or pale brown, brown colour or similar.

if other herbs are added then expect a darker colour and they may also smell rather strange if u are used to taking pure pm.

just because a pm product is not pure doesnt mean it doesnt work, some companys like philli said just try and bulk out the pm to get extra cash, but some companys do actually add herbs that they think will enhance the effectivness of the pm.
it really is trial and error.

and cheap and chearfull is usually the products that actually do what they say.

i recently bought some off ebay so so cheap, 300mgs from thailand, a company called Thanyaporn herbs, lol the name made me giggle.
its pure and the colour of this is brown with white grains in it

breast enlargement isnt a definate with this product , but personally the effects on my skin, hair, libido etc is wonderful and thats the reason i carried on with it even though it doesnt effect my boobies anymore.

although i am going to stop the pm when i start my msm just so i can know what supp is doing what,


im no expert but if i know 1 thing about this herb is that on average pm is not naturally dark in colour (hence the traditional name 4 it) and just like vit c is recomended to enhance absorbtion of certain vits and minerals, same applys to pm and added herbs (in moderation).


but pure is probably yr best bet ,

colour is important, its our eyes that make us decide if some thing is dangerous its what makes us question this.
fenugreek saw palmetto, vit c, fish oil etc all have relativley the same colours through each product, if u bought black fish oil then u would be worried and question it..
that aint a bad or dumb thing.



green pm made me as sick as a dog, so need to give my opinion to help others .

Thanks for understanding. I have bought fenugreek from different places and it is always the same color. As well as all the other supplements that I take so the variation in color for the same thing (PM), throws me off a bit. I just cannot understand why they would be different colors yet it is the same product.

I have found that more expensive PM happens to be white and the cheaper PM happens to be beige. So it leads me to believe that white PM is artificially cultivated and beige PM is natural. I don't know if it is true or not, its just my opinion. I don't which one would be moe effective either for breast enhancement.

I know someone who is an expert on PM, I will have to ask her for her opinion.

But PM is great for all its other uses as well, which is why I wanted to take it. What have your results and experience with PM?

I'm not an expert, in fact I haven't even taken any of it yet. But from some research I have done on it they say that the type of PM that is supposed to have the greatest affect on breast enhancement in it's purest form is white in color. I don't know much about the supplement, other than what I have read, but this is what I managed to find out about the color variances. Philli should know, and has mentioned that they all work the same, but in its purest form without any additives it is supposed to be white in color, that's what they say the internal color of the root is.

yeah from what ive found out the root is white so it makes sense that the pure pm should be white.
but if a product has like 300mgs of pm in it and other stuff added and is some dark brown colour or something im not saying it doesnt work its just the extra herbs that i want people to be weary of, as we are not used to them (especially thailand herbs), the pm will do its job but added herbs might mess up yr system (which is common in pm products
philli is right and pure pm is the best, and its white so always just go 4 that.
just wanted to give a little info in the colour department.
tina; no problem i started pm about 4 yrs ago now, my first product was original formula mirifem, this worked really well for me with breast enlargement, infact to be honest all of the pm i used worked well for be except the dark green stuff from thailand,
i was able to maintain the breast increase (by atlast 1 cup size) with the help of my depo injection.
for some reason the breast increase would only kick in when i was on the depo ( but if i wasnt taking pm my boobs would stay the same-depo or not)
it was ALWAYS water increase, and it never stayed, even though i managed to increase my boobs considerably while using the different pms.
what i noticed apart from this was the hair growth, grew like crazy (i used to take 6000mgs a day)
i had chemo and my hair was a absolute mess, but the pm helped alot for me, at the time my diet was terrible, as i never felt like eating and didnt take any other supps or vits, and my hair managed to some how grow.
skin becomes quite dewy aswell and libido was up a few knotches, probably did other things that i have not noticed, hopefully has given me some anti-aging benifits but cant really tell at this point in time.

must say that since mirifem changed there formula to an extract of pm (about 2 yrs ago)instead of just pm, i stopped recieving any breast increase from it, nothing what so ever.
not saying its not good for the other benifits since extract is supposed to be stronger but for the boobies i got nada.
st herb always did what it was supposed to, but dont know if they have changed to an extract or not as i dont buy them any more

right now ive got the thai pm and a 'pueraria uk' brand from ebay that is 500mgs each, think a lot of girls on eves forum use that brand and the woman that sells it sometimes logs in and replys to questions.
