Hey all,
I'm going to chime in here as a quick voice of dissent - while I believe PM works for some, it is like anything - it doesn't work for everyone, and it can even have unpleasant side effects for those of us who are sensitive to the estrogenic effects of its phytoestrogen content. Not everything works the same way for everyone. I have a friend who went on the same contraceptive pill as me when we were 23 (we're 28 now) and her breasts grew a cup size on it, but mine didn't. Physiologically speaking, we're just not all the same!
Think about it - some of us can eat peanuts, some are allergic. Some can eat wheat, some can't etc, etc. I tried PM, and had very noticeable, quite negative side effects. They included bloating, dizziness, headaches, diarrhea, uterine pain, more cellulite and a fatter butt (or maybe it was just increased fluid retention, who knows, but the cellulite is still there, dammit), a depressed state of mind, and constant fatigue. I kept it up for 5 months (the first 2 months on 900mg a day, the last 3 months on between 200-300mg a day), and nothing happened to my breasts. I've now stopped.
I barely drank alcohol for that time (I had, like one drink a week, if that), didn't have caffeine, used positive visualisations, etc, but we're just not all the same, and not everything works for everyone! Case in point: I was recently prescribed an antibiotic for an infection that didn't work on me - I went back to the doc and they told me that that particular one doesn't work for everyone, and they prescribed me a different one, which did the job. Medicinal products and hormonal or pseudo-hormonal remedies are not a one-size-fits-all thing, and while I know PM can work, I promise you it's impossible that it would work for everyone!
